You may remember April from Season 2 of the Bachelor Canada where she won the heart of then bachelor, Tim Warmels. Since then this small town sweetheart moved from her hometown of Wasaga Beach finding her passion and career in Realestate. April joined one of Toronto’s leading boutique brokerages, Stomp Realty Inc. and you can often find her visiting some of the city’s most sought after downtown Real-estate.

While her Real-estate career keeps April busy with the hustle & bustle of the city, she still finds time to pursue her passions for travel and humanitarian work. In the Spring of 2015 April embarked on a new endeavour volunteering at Remar Orphanage in El Salvador. Partnering up with grassroots organization 100 Smiles Project, April helped co-ordiate a team of 15 on one of the organizations first mission trips. 100 Smiles Project helps orphanages and responds to real need in impoverished costal communities. The goal? To generate at least 100 smiles through surf and volunteer initiatives while providing dental care, feeding programs, school supplies, project builds and toy donations. This small organization ministers to poverty stricken areas of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

This cultural experience among others left April with a passion for the Latin community. Music has always been a huge part of April’s life and helps her stay connected to her European heritage. With a love for music comes a passion for dance, and April is not shy to try new things. To express herself through dance April chose to learn the Bachata, Fox Trot, Waltz & Tango among the languages of the soul and it came naturally to her. April has enjoyed learning these various dance styles with the Author Murray Dance Studio and is incredibly honored to be participating in this event!
